“Welcome Outside” is a campaign designed to create awareness and promote service delivery. The campaign aims to focus on Johannesburg City Parks and Zoo (JCPZ) services, maintenance cycle, service standards and external green services. Service delivery plays an integral part in the overall outcome of JCPZ’s performance.

Johannesburg is a vibrant city with quality, accessible and welcoming open spaces and parks. JCPZ is proud to provide the following horticultural services: grass cutting, litter picking, weed control, flowerbed maintenance, beautification and hedge trimming to keep this bustling city attractive. These services are undertaken in parks, cemeteries, nature reserves and the botanical garden.

The city is the largest man made forest boasting approximately 3.6 million street trees. With over 2000 parks, 126 conservation areas, Joburg Zoo and 38 cemeteries JCPZ continues to develop and conserve public open spaces for a more livable Joburg. JCPZ will keep the outdoors in Joburg green and attractive for friends and families to explore and appreciate.
