"Towards an integrated strategy on urban safety in public open spaces for Johannesburg"

IN order to address issues surrounding safety in public open spaces and to help identify opportunities for positive change, Johannesburg City Parks and Zoo (JCPZ), in collaboration with the Joburg Safer Cities Programme, cordially invite you to attend the first dialogue in a series of JCPZ Public Dialogues.

The JCPZ dialogue series is aimed at creating a platform for learning and knowledge exchange between state and non-state actors including civil society organisations, private sector, academia and the public.

The dialogue with the theme of 'Enhancing Urban Safety in Public Open Spaces' will be presented by Professor Peter Gotsch who is the Professor of International Cooperation in Urban Development at TU Darmstadt in Germany.

Prof. Dr. Gotsch was part of the Scientific Council of the Network-Association of European Researchers on Urbanisation in the South (N-AERUS) from 2005 to 2009.
