THE Managing Director of the Johannesburg City Parks & Zoo, Mr Bulumko Nelana and the Rotary Club or Roodepoort invite you to the launch of Planet Walk project in Kloofendal Nature Reserve. The project consists of nine planet tokens mounted on quarried rocks. Each has an engraved granite plaque, which describes the planet and provide interesting statistics such as its distance from the sun and size relative to earth. The project will assist learners with experiential learning that will make it easier to understand the solar system. Aspiring astronomers will also get a chance to see the Moon and the Venus as they watch the stars on the evening.

The event will consist of "guided walk" around the "planets", star gazing, animal demonstration and enterrainment for both kids and adults.
