JCP recognizes that our employees are our most valuable assets, and that our success as a company depends on our employees and their ability to be fully productive in their functions.
We believe that optimum company and individual effectiveness requires that our employees are well and the environment they work in is both safe and conducive for the health of the employees.
To achieve this objective we have implemented a comprehensive employee wellness programme (EWP).
Our EWP focuses on the three wellbeing elements:
1. Physical Wellbeing
2. Psychosocial Wellbeing
3. Wellbeing Maintenance
JCP believes that a health condition that is not managed manifests itself in high absenteeism and huge loss of productivity.
The problems of chronic ailments like hypertension, if not well managed, can affect worker morale and increase our health care costs.
We will continue to strive towards a fully fledged and accredited well-being programme.
